In Shattered Bonds of the Fae Brothers, Lyra Solis witnessed the betrayal of the Fae princes she had protected for years. They cast her aside to choose Blair, her manipulative maid, as their one true mate. Devastated and enraged, she severed their bond and accepted the Dragon King's marriage proposal.

While the princes expected her to come crawling back, Lyra sought shelter in Valerius' mighty arms. She was uncertain if the notorious, fearsome Dragon King could ever be capable of love. Valerius proved her wrong when he gave her everything the princes never did—devotion, loyalty, and a crown to lead his empire.

The woman they deemed unworthy eventually became the Dragon Queen—forever out of their reach and valued by a man they loathed. Only then did regret settle in.

Characters

Lyra Solis

Lyra Solis is the female protagonist. She's the orphaned elf who saved the princes ten years ago. She's fearless, kind-hearted, and driven by a sense of justice. She's perfect to be the next elf queen, but fate has more in store for her.

Valerius

Valerius is the male protagonist. He's the notorious Dragon King who rules the endless sea and wages war against almost every other kind. He's ruthless and filled with darkness, but is equally respectful to anyone he sees as worthy of it.

Rowan and Kaleb Aurelius

Rowan and Kaleb Aurelius are the ignorant princes who betrayed Lyra. They're arrogant, condescending, and gullible, always thinking their words are the law. Fate eventually humbles them through Lyra's success and Blair's betrayal.

Blair

Blair is the primary female antagonist. She's a low-life maid who manipulated the princes to gain their sympathy. She spreads lies to ruin Lyra, but her success proves temporary when Lyra exposes her in the end.
