Mason Todd, once the Culinary King, lost everything after refusing to endorse Damon Holt's gutter-oil brand and was saved by Tessa Ford, owner of Crossroads Bistro. Though stripped of his sense of taste, Mason rebuilt his skills in humble kitchens and entered the Culinary King Championship to protect Tessa and her restaurant. Facing sabotage from Holt and Gavin Cole, he fought his way to the final and reclaimed his crown with a simple bowl of soy sauce fried rice.
