Cassie finds out that her sister Lisa is having an affair with her richest boyfriend, Eric. But instead of feeling ashamed, Lisa says Cassie and her mother Helen are a drag because they were born poor. The injured mother nearly died of a heart attack. In order to get back at her sister and her ex-boyfriend, Cassie decides to marry the richest man, Johnny Brisson, and becomes her sister's mother-in-law and her ex's stepmother.
