She deliberately drew close to Jane's son Sebastian, and the two gradually fell for each other amid constant entanglements. Along her vengeful journey, Evelyn devised schemes to ruin Jane's reputation. Torn between love and hatred, she framed Sebastian in the end. Eventually, Jane went insane and the castle was burned to the ground. Sebastian returned home with a broken arm, and Evelyn reunited with him with a child in tow, putting an end to their tangled love and hatred.
