Chef Leon Kennedy, once the "King of Cooking," fell apart after his wife died in a tragic car accident. Working in the kitchen, he faces the abuse of the executive sous chef (Bryant), who belittles and disrespects him. Leon tries to keep his head down, but when a nefarious businessman (William) threatens the restaurant, Leon has to break out the skills and artistry that made him a legendary chef. The restoration of his glory and joy is shortlived, however, as the spiteful chef Bryant defames him, and the resentful William kills his beloved dog. Enduring ups, downs, and devastation once again, the aggrieved Chef Leon picks up his chef's knife, hungry for revenge.
